I started yoga ten years ago as a way to handle stress. I loved it so much that I went on to complete yoga teacher training and became a certified prenatal instructor. I'd experienced wrist pain during class and learned women, especially pregnant women, are more susceptible to pain. So I learned to grip with my hands and activate the muscles of my arms and back. But I still slipped all over the place. I wished I had more to stabilize me than just a flat mat. 
One day, in the middle of a yoga flow, I thought of slightly raised stickers for yoga mats. Every time I went to a hardware store or craft store, I’d grab different materials to see what worked. After lots of experimentation and tests by many very patient yogi friends, my stickers were born.
Yoga can seriously improve your life, but it doesn’t have to be serious. I hope adding a splash of color and a little texture helps you stick with it that much more!
